Alice Newman is a well regarded, experienced and successful attorney. She graduated Magna cum laude from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and graduated in the top 15% from Brooklyn Law School (having ranked 6th out of 300 students during her first year.) She was Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, Research Assistant to Professor Joel M. Gora and a student law clerk for the Honorable Nina Gershon, who was then a United States Magistrate in the Southern District of New York, and is now a Federal District Court Judge.
The foundation for her success is composed of hard work, perseverance and a highly developed understanding of the human factor. After practicing with Schulman, Berlin & Davis, P.C. in Manhattan for five years, Alice relocated to New Jersey and opened her own practice. From 1989 to 1992 she was a member of Lebensfeld & Newman, P.C. with offices in New York and New Jersey. She then practiced with Dunn, Pashman, Sponzilli, Swick and Finnerty in Hackensack, New Jersey prior to re-establishing her own practice in New Jersey.
In the late 1990's, Alice became of counsel to Rubenstein, Meyerson, Fox, Mancinelli & Conte, P.A. (formerly Rubenstein, Meyerson, Blake & Fox, P.A) in Montvale, New Jersey in order to better serve her New York and New Jersey clients. In 2000, she launched her Florida office in Boca Raton, where she continues her tradition of excellence and devotion to her clients.
Alice is a member of the Florida and New Jersey State Bar Associations and the Palm Beach and Bergen County Bar Associations. She was a charter member of the New Jersey Association of Real Estate Attorneys. Alice is a member of the Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey State Bar Foundations and a past Chair of the Speakers Bureau of Women Lawyers in Bergen County and a member of the Speakers Bureau of the Florida Bar. She lectures on estate planning and other legal issues of concern to individuals and small businesses.
